We're
pleased to announce we've found (we think) a new location for the aacultwatch forum. The old one is still running and will continue to do so until the end of
February as we make the transition after which time the posts there
will be deleted and the account closed. Posters to the forum are
advised therefore to make copies of any information they wish to
save.
Our reason
for taking this action is the introduction of increasingly intrusive
advertising (over which we have no control) on the original site.
This took the form of inserted links leading to commercial products
having absolutely no relationship to the content of the forum. We
took up the matter with Delphi Forums in an attempt to resolve the
situation. Unfortunately they were unable to provide a workable
solution. There appears to be no such problem with the new site. We
shall be tinkering with this over the next few days so bear with us
as we figure it all out. The format of the forum will be slightly
different since it is based on a WordPress blogging template. However
it does seem that it can be tailored to function effectively for that
purpose. We'll keep you updated.
